A you know, Jesus often spoke in parables to teach spiritual lessons. Although you may be familiar with a number of these parables, you may never have considered how they fall into meaningful groupings.
In our 5-week study, we will be arranging Jesus’ parables in groupings that reflect Jesus’ teachings during His earthly ministry:
Parables of the Kingdom, of Salvation, of Wisdom and Folly, of the Christian Life, and of Judgment.
Each week of the study we will be focusing on one of these groupings and talking about 4 or 5 parables in that grouping.
There will be two opportunities each week to join in this study: Tuesday evenings at 7:30 on Zoom, and Thursday mornings at 10 in the Johnson Chapel. The first session will be the week of June 24th (no session the week of July 1st) and the final week will be the week of July 29.
