Hunger Hurts
Many children who receive free or reduced-price school meals are left without adequate nutrition when school is not in session. Center for Food Action’s (CFA) Weekend Snack Pack Program (WSPP) is designed to fill this gap by providing healthy, kid-friendly, and easy to prepare snack foods to children at risk of hunger.
CFA provides everything we need, deliver the items, organize your event and pick up the finished packs to distribute to our participating schools. Each pack is priced at $6.00.
Your help in supporting this important outreach program sponsored by our church would be appreciated.
